Introducing the compact RTL8156BG 2.5 Gigabit USB Ethernet adapter, a simple way to add fast wired networking to laptops, mini PCs, tablets and desktops that only have 1 GbE or no Ethernet port at all. Built on the Realtek RTL8156BG chipset, it delivers up to 2.5 Gbps over a standard Cat5e or better cable and is backward compatible with 1G and 100M networks.

Note: Select the connector that matches your device: USB Type-A or USB Type-C. For the full 2.5 Gbps, connect it to a USB 3.0 (5 Gbps) or faster port and use a 2.5 GbE-capable switch or router.
