Introducing the Lekuo PB65MX3 "SouthBridge Max", an AMD B650 chipset soldered onto a half-height PCIe card. Drop it into any spare PCIe 4.0 x4 (or x8 / x16) slot and it turns that one slot into twelve ports: four M.2 NVMe sockets, four SATA 6Gbps ports and four USB ports including 20Gbps USB-C. No motherboard bifurcation is needed, so it works in slots that cannot split lanes, which makes it ideal for home servers, NAS builds, backup boxes and media libraries that have run out of drive connectors.
Note: All twelve ports share a single PCIe 4.0 x4 uplink (≈7.9 GB/s combined). The two front M.2 slots run at x4 each while the rear pair is empty; with all four M.2 slots populated every slot drops to x2. This card is built for capacity and connectivity, not for several fast NVMe drives running flat out at the same time. The rear M.2 slots face the back of the card, so allow airflow for sustained workloads.
The B650 chipset (Promontory 21) is independent of the host CPU, so the card is plug-and-play on Windows 10/11, Linux and macOS and is not limited to AMD systems. It draws power from the slot in normal use; a 6-pin connector is provided for high-draw USB devices.
