2.5G Optical Media Converter (TL-MC2500) [with HSGMII / 2500Base-FX support]

Introducing the TL-MC2500 Fiber Media Converter, the only fiber media converter in the market that allows you to maximize the 2.5Gbps bandwidth of your SFP equipment. Equipped with a dip switch that lets you conveniently change the link speed of the SFP port between 1G and 2.5G, enabling you to apply settings at a specific link speed as needed.

2.5 Gbps support will only be possible if your entire network supports 2.5Base-T. This includes the router, network cards, and cables to which the Media Converter connects. 10GBase-T support does not guarantee compatibility! Using SFP equipment on the 2.5G mode with unsupported hardware can cause packet loss.

Compatibility with HSGQ XPON ONU

The TL-MC2500 features plug-n-play 2.5GbE compatibility with the HSGQ XPON SFP module without the need for making any changes to the firmware or settings in the Web GUI. The stick will auto-negotiate to 2.5GbE, provided all other links in the network are also 2.5GbE.
